Who we are
This website is operated by Iris Fashion Marketing, founded by Meg Ivens. If you have any question about this policy or about the information held about you, write to meg@irisfashionmarketing.com.
What we collect
We only collect what the site actually needs to work and to tell us whether our marketing is reaching the right people.
- Information you give us. When you book a call, our scheduling provider collects your name, email address, time zone and any answers you give on the booking form. When you email us, we hold whatever you choose to write.
- Information collected automatically. Standard technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how long you stay and the site or advert that brought you here.
How we use it
- To schedule, prepare for and hold the call you booked.
- To reply to enquiries you send us.
- To measure how our website and advertising perform, and to improve both.
- To show relevant advertising to people who have visited this site, and to people with similar profiles.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses the Meta Pixel, a tool provided by Meta Platforms. It places cookies in your browser and records actions such as viewing the page, scrolling, playing the video and clicking to book. This lets us understand which adverts lead to real bookings, and allows Meta to show our adverts to people like you.
You can stop this at any time: adjust your cookie settings in your browser, use your browser's private mode, or change your advert preferences directly with Meta in your account settings. Blocking these cookies does not affect your ability to use this site or book a call.
Who else handles your data
We keep the list of third parties deliberately short. Each one processes data on our behalf under its own privacy terms:
- Netlify hosts this website and keeps standard server logs.
- Calendly handles call bookings and the information you enter on the booking form.
- Meta Platforms receives website activity through the Meta Pixel, as described above.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on this site, which involves your browser contacting Google's servers and sharing your IP address.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the providers listed here.
How long we keep it
Booking and enquiry information is kept for as long as we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us. Advertising and analytics data is retained according to the providers' own schedules. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your rights
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, data protection law gives you the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Have inaccurate information corrected.
- Have your information deleted.
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where our use relies on consent.
- Complain to your national data protection authority.
To exercise any of these, email meg@irisfashionmarketing.com and we will respond within one month.
Children
This site and the services described on it are intended for business owners and are not directed at anyone under 18.
